Listen to my playing with
Conducted: at the start of each section it listens and takes your tempo, then beats time. In fast sections it holds that tempo rock steady (you play with it); in slow ones it leans toward you a little; at rit., rubato and section changes it follows you more.
Orchestra-only passages
Where you don't play, the orchestra sets the tempo: like the recording (with its slowing and pressing on; you choose the speed), steadily at the score's tempos, or at your last tempo. Everywhere else it follows you.
Sound
Bluetooth speakers and headphones play late (often 150–250 ms). If the orchestra sounds behind you, raise this until it's together.
